A Little Extra Help

I've had many people tell me that they are really struggling with hunger and also keeping "regular" after the first few days.  My best advice for you is possibly a handful of almonds to eat along with your fruit.  I find its extremely satisfying and does a lot to keep things "moving" in the right direction!  If the hungrys still are driving you crazy up your calories with an extra fruit or an extra ounce or two of protein during your day!

"Control"

After getting off the drops during the maintenance phase of the HCG protocol, I was having a hard time keeping up the energy level that I had gotten used to while using HCG plus.  I requested that our formulator come up with just "plus" without the HCG.  So, my wish came true and we have our new product called "Control".  So this is the appetite suppressant and energy boost in a stand alone form to support maintenance and normal everyday life.  I'm loving it!  So those of you that are afraid of going off the drops because of energy or appetite control, I have your solution!  The cost for my readers is $25/bottle ($35 reg.)  I should also say that this formulation is more concentrated and so less drops are needed.  I hope you like it!!!

Chicken Tacos

I don't know about you, but I love tacos and Mexican food in general!  Don't let this diet stop you from the things you love!  Just modify it a bit and this is TOTALLY DO-ABLE!  Here's a recipe for Chicken Tacos (or lean beef.  Try throwing a London Broil in the crock pot for the day with some onion and garlic! I've also put chicken breasts in the crock pot and shredded it to use as taco meat)  The lettuce leaves give you the crunch that you want and really, you can totally enjoy without the shell.  Add some of my yummy salsa  for great flavor!

Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

100 grams finely chopped or ground chicken breast
¼ cup chicken broth or water
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 clove garlic crushed and minced
1/8 teaspoon oregano
Cayenne pepper to taste
Pinch of cumin
Fresh cilantro chopped
2-4 large lettuce leaves

Directions

In a small frying pan cook chicken in broth.  Add onion, garlic, and spices.
Deglaze pan with lemon juice or a little water.  Serve chicken taco style in

Yummy Soup for a cold day

As it's pouring down rain today, I thought I'd post a few recipes that sound good on a rainy and cold day.  I know there are plenty ahead of us!

Crab Bisque

100 grams (3.5 ounces) Crab Meat
1 C. Tomatoes
2 C. Vegetable Broth
1 tbsp. Onion, minced
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. milk
Cayenne pepper to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Puree tomatoes and broth in a food processor or blender.  Heat up mixture in a small saucepan.  Add the crab and spices and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently.
(one serving of protein and one serving of vegetable)

If you're not a seafood lover here's my favorite Chili Recipe:

Chili

100 grams lean ground beef
1 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. onion, minced
1 tomato, diced
1/2 C. water
1 tsp. garlic

In a small skillet Brown the ground beef; add chili powder, garlic and onion as you are browning.  Stir in tomatoes and water; stir then cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the tomatoes cook down and liquid is reduced.  Add water as needed to prevent burning.  You can add cayenne pepper if you like it hot or red pepper flakes.

(1 serving of protein, 1 serving of vegetable)

The "Sauce"

Okay so here's what saved me during the protocol.  Here's the Recipe for my Pico de Gallo.  I use it on EVERYTHING!  It gives my salads, meat, chicken and fish flavor and makes me not feel like I am dieting!  I've even sliced radishes and eaten it like chips and salsa.  I also puree my tomatoes and make into salsa (so good you'll want to drink it!)

1 Tomato (diced)
1/2 Yellow or White onion
Cilantro (depends on how much you like)
1 teaspoon Crushed or diced garlic
Juice from 1/2 lime
Salt to taste

Journey Down the Scale

So here's me. I'm afraid to say that I don't have very many pictures of me over the past few years.
Part of the reason is because I'm mostly behind the camera, but the other reason is that I don't want pictures of my fat! I've never been stick thin, but I've never been this big either. So after finding out about HCG and all the success that people around me, including my husband, were having, I decided to give it a whirl.
We started HCG injections and started seeing the numbers on the scale fall! Wow! This was amazing! I don't want to say it was easy, as much as it was do-able. I knew that I could do anything for 40 days and that I could for-go that brownie or piece of bread knowing that the scale would reflect that sacrifice the next morning! I did notice that my energy level was low and that everyday at about three in the afternoon I felt like I hit a brick wall! My energy level just sunk. I told my Doctor and started getting weekly B-12 shots in order to give me more energy.
40 days and 28 pounds (lost) later I looked like this and felt even better.

My husband and I were so happy to feel the success of HCG and noticed some pretty major differences in not only the way we looked, but the way we felt! He noticed immediately that his acid reflux disappeared. Before getting on HCG he would be awakened in the middle of the night with acid burning up his throat and into his mouth! He lived with a bottle of Tums next to his bed and was forced to wake up almost every night to eat a handful. I noticed how much easier it was to get around. I could get on the treadmill and actually run without my knees or ankles hurting. But the best thing for me was that I had to find some smaller jeans!

We also knew that this was only the beginning of our weight-loss journey. I still needed to lose about 50 more pounds.
Well, the cost of the shots was enough reason for us to start looking for some alternatives. We got online and started looking at sites from Canada. We ended up ordering some injectable HCG that ended up coming from India. I was so disappointed after 2 weeks of being on the protocol and not losing anything and also feeling very deprived (which I never felt before). We both started back into some old habits that caused our weight to climb again. I admit I am not only a carb-oholic, but I love candy and goodies, too! My weight started to climb back up a little at a time. After seeing a billboard sign for homeopathic HCG drops, I decided to check it out and to give them a try. Well, unfortunately I only went on for a few weeks and still didn't feel the same success as I had originally. I was pretty much resigned to the fact that I had to go back on the injections in order to feel successful weight loss.

BTC ENERGETIC VIBRATIONAL HCG
Just recently a friend of mine approached me about a new HCG product out on the market that was in drop form, but not homeopathic. I researched a little into the science of the homeopathic HCG vs. the Energetic Vibrational HCG and found out the reason why they didn't work for me. First, I'm sure the stuff from India, was just that...STUFF! I shutter to think what I was injecting myself with. Then I found out that the homeopathic solution is diluted and has different dilution strengths (12X, 30X, 60X, etc.) When they mix the solution they administer a physical impact(succession) to the mixture to adhere the HCG to the base (in most cases is Alcohol) Any dilution over 12x is very unstable and should be handled very carefully and shipping can very easily affect the succession and render it ineffective. Other things that affect the efficacy are: light, temperature and x-ray. So from this information I realized that efficacy can vary from batch to batch dependent upon handling.

Well, I told him that I would try it, but I was a little sceptical. Not because I didn't believe that HCG didn't work, but that drops weren't as effective as the injections.

So I decided to try to lose 20 lbs. in 20 days. I noticed that this product was different right off the bat! First, the base is Glycerin and after some research found that Glycerin is a humectant and the body loves it like it loves water. So it absorbs quickly. The next difference I noticed was my energy level. Instead of that 3 o'clock low I hit every single day, I was able to work right through the day! I didn't feel hungry at all. In fact, there were days that I didn't remember to eat lunch! If I ever started to feel hungry, I drank some water and the hunger ceased.

Well, I did lose 20 lbs. but I didn't lose it in 20 days, it took 25 for me! But, hey, I'll take it! I feel better and I sleep better AND I had to buy some new clothes! I am currently on my next round with HCG+ and have already dropped 4 lbs. in 4 days! I am on my way down the scale and for the first time in my life, I couldn't be more optimistic!

Not only did I decide to stand behind this product, I decided that I wanted to help others that have been frustrated in their quest for a smaller waistline by helping coach others through this same journey. I will post my results as well as give suggestions and even pass along some recipes that I use during my journey. I also will offer my readers a discount on HCG+ and offer free shipping!
